i actually read quite a bit in january (11 compared to december where i only read 3 oops)!! but that was mainly in the beginning of the month, before school started taking up so much of my time. that’s also why i’m not posting as much as i did at the start of january haha. (rip all the weekly memes/discussion posts i missed out on).

IN THE MONTH OF DECEMBER // last wrap up of 2020
it’s 2021! honestly it doesn’t feel like 2020 is over, probably because it doesn’t feel particularly eventful for me due to covid—kind of feels like we’re just going through the motions (especially when lockdown hit). nonetheless, here’s to a better year (hopefully).
i didn’t read a lot this month. i did watch quite a bit of stuff though (that’s probably where all my time went). overall, december was quite unproductive for me. oh but i managed to finish my goodreads reading challenge of 50 books so yay.

www wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On a World of Words where you answer three questions.
it’s been a WHILE since i did this but i’m trying to post regularly this month so i’m going to be posting www wednesday every week (i’ll try). i’ve been thinking about blogmas and whether i should do it. i kind of want to (plus the fact that i have a few posts planned for the next few days helps) but! realistically, i know that there’s a very huge possibility that i might stop blogging entirely. so i think i’m just going to try to post as much as i can, and maybe post some holiday-related content.

top ten tuesday is a weekly book meme created by The Broke and the Bookish in june of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in january of 2018.
i feel like i’ve been rereading quite a bit this year because i haven’t been buying any new books lately. it’s probably due to COVID-19 that i haven’t been going to bookstores much. i actually love rereading books, hence it’s always a constant struggle to decide whether i should pick up a new book or reread old favourites. anyway, here are the top ten books/series i want to read again.
Continue readingJUNE WRAP UP // back to blogging + new obsessions
june’s been amazing (not including the last week because school started again for me)!! and i’m really excited to write this post, because for some reason i love writing (and reading other people’s) wrap ups lmao.
MOST ANTICIPATED BOOK RELEASES 2018 // july-december
CLOCKWORK PRINCESS BY CASSANDRA CLARE // book review
i felt so empty (?) right after finishing this book. mostly because of the epilogue, which kills me everytime i read it.
i have reviews for both clockwork angel (click here to read) and clockwork prince (click here to read). you might want to read those first if you know nothing about this trilogy because this review might be a little spoiler-y??

MID YEAR BOOK FREAK OUT TAG // how isit that half of 2018 is over !!
this tag was floating around recently and it looked interesting so i thought i’d give this a shot hahaha even though no one tagged me.
i realised—while scrolling through goodreads to see what books i’ve read this year—that i’ve actually reread quite a number of books rather than read books i haven’t already read. and yet i still ask myself why i have so many books in my tbr pile *smh*.
so, my answers will inevitably include books i’ve reread this year. but i’ll try my best to also include new books i’ve read 🙂 let’s just move on to the tag because i’m sure no one wants to read my ramblings haha.
